Classes for ages 9 and older With a strong foundation of in-depth instruction in the fundamentals of basic drawing and color, progressively leading through most wet and dry media (pencil, color pencil, pastels, acrylics, oil, gouche, and pen and ink), students are encouraged to expand their horizons through the use of creative techniques, methods, and styles in traditional, impressionist, illustrative, and pop art design. Portfolio preparation and guidance is offered to the older student considering an art career path.
